🔍 CONTEXT

About

Through these animated drawings, I illustrated the feelings of high school students as they were spending crucial years of their adolescence quarantined inside. This was a project I did in my senior year of high school. All illustrations and layers were draw in Procreate and brought into Adobe After Effects to animate.

🥳 FINAL RESULT

Identity

Our time in quarantine was filled with self-reflection and finding our identities. Through times of identity crises, many were able to discover themselves.

Burnout

Staying motivated throughout the pandemic was definitely a challenge for many students as classes moved online. Many had trouble balancing their mental health along with their education.

Connections

At the peak of Covid, everyone had to find ways to keep in touch with friends and family. At times, the amount of social media intake became overwhelming.

Time

The days spent in quarantine either blurred together or moved by slowly. Time became a weird construct of feeling like there was never enough time and also feeling like there was too much.
